This new 3 storey state-of-the-art high school has a capacity of 600 students. It contains spaces for multi-purpose learning rooms, administration, active health living, arts, cafeteria, family studies, information technology, laboratory rooms, library/resource, student services, storage, technology, textiles, gymnasium, drama, theater and collaborative open concept learning street. 

M&R Engineering is responsible for electrical design including Lighting, Power, Communications and Security.

Key Facts: 

• The lighting control system incorporates a combination of low voltage relays, occupancy sensors, daylight sensors to reduce power usage through daylight harvesting and programmable software based controls.

• Full cut-off, dark sky compliant fixtures in combination with house side shields are installed to reduce light pollution achieving LEED credit SSc.8 for sustainable sites.

• Addressable fire alarm system complete with graphic annunciator panel. 

• Classrooms are equipped with assistive listening systems, ceiling mounted projectors with associated sound system and multimedia connections.  Additionally, the gymnasium and cafeteria are equipped with independent sound systems.
